Fall Internships at Longstreet Solutions

Posted by Admin On 1:01:00 PM
Longstreet Solutions is seeking a Marketing and Social Media intern who can play a vital role in promoting and generating awareness about Woblet, their newest smartphone application. Woblet is a discount and loyalty rewards program created by Emory graduates in 2011 for people to use every time they dine at local restaurants. Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Planning and executing various events that will draw in new users and keep existing users interested
- Assisting supervisors with creatively using all social media outlets
- Attending college campus-wide gatherings with coworkers and supervisors to enthusiastically promote the app to students
- Cooperating with our clients to brainstorm and carry out ideas/events that will encourage local residents to download and use the app
- Reaching out to local non-profits and charities to establish partnerships with them, for the “Woblet Charity” aspect

We are looking for individuals with excellent verbal and written skills, who can effectively collaborate with others and independently complete assignments. Previous experience with marketing and social media is a plus, though not required. Interns will directly interact with the co-founders of the company, as well as work constantly alongside peers and supervisors, giving interns the opportunity to learn from hands-on experience.

This is a part-time internship and the hours are very flexible. It is unpaid, but we happily provide school credit.

Longstreet Solutions is a highly targeted marketing and consulting firm for university-based restaurants and retailers. For students, we provide a smartphone application or free loyalty cards that offer discounts and rewards to student users. For restaurants, Longstreet Solutions offers specialized marketing and consulting services through the use of cutting-edge technology and data mining processes.

As Longstreet Solutions expands universities across the country, we are seeking motivated interns who are interested in working at a relatively new and expanding company.

If you have any questions about the internship, feel contact Elyse Albert at ealbert@longstreetsolutions.com or 201-306-2776.  To apply, resume and cover letter should be sent to employment@longstreetsolutions.com.
