Luminary Academy Looking for SAT Tutors

The Luminary Academy is a non-profit group that provides subsidized academic services to underserved students. The group is a Georgia Tech Institute Partner through the Office of Government and Community Relations. Luminary is looking for Georgia Tech students for SAT & ACT prep tutoring during the summer.

Event date(s): Every Saturday from May 25th - July 13th
Event time(s): 8 AM - 12 PM

What volunteers will do? Tutor local 7th-12 grade students on the fundamentals of standardized testing and SAT basic skills

Skills needed? SAT score of 1800 or higher 
Training provided? Yes

Numbers of hours/days per week? 4 hours/week for class; 1 hour/week for training
Length of commitment? 8 weeks

Transportation needed? The tutoring sessions will be on campus at Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons

Compensation? Stipend at the end of the session for $300

    Well these sounds to be great post quite beneficial for those considering and also confused about Summer Camp or SAT Exam Prep, I myself had to answer to so many of the students who actually faced this.
