- Ensures that your work experience is noted on your transcript
- Allows you to maintain full-time student status while you work, which, in turn, lets you maintain your eligibility for coverage by your family healthcare and auto insurance
- Provides you with guidance in career goal-setting and documents providing input from your internship advisor about your job performance
To Register your internship:
- If you don’t already have an account on our database, CareerBuzz: Go to: https://gtdopp-csm.symplicity.com/students/ In your student Profile section, complete the DoPP application information and apply to the Internship program. It may take a few days for your CareerBuzz account to be activated. Once it is activated, you will receive an email with your login information and further instructions.
- Once your account has been approved, go to the Georgia Tech Internship Program (GTIP) website and follow the job acceptance/placement instructions listed at: http://www.gtip.gatech.edu/intern_job_placement.html. Make sure to upload a copy of your offer letter or offer email into your account via the Placement Form.
- Contact your Internship Advisor for receive a permit for the internship course. Beginning Monday May 6th, we will have Walk-In hours from 10:00-12:00 and 1:30 to 4:00 every day until Thursday, May 16th. For the final day of Phase II registration Walk-Ins will end at 12:00 Noon.
