Marketing & Social Media Intern - Scizzle

Scizzle is a platform for scientists and researchers where they can find everything that is sizzling hot in their science. We are still in our infancy and getting ready to launch our alpha version, so if you are interested in a meaningful, hands-on experience where your work will have a real impact on our success – read on!

The ideal candidate will have some background in science (preferably life science) with a passion for/ expertise in marketing, especially online marketing.

The intern will be responsible for the following:
Developing and executing a marketing plan for Scizzle
Managing Scizzle social media sites and campaigns
Engaging audiences in various social media sites (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs)
Performing market research as needed

You should be self-motivated with strong work ethics, eager to learn, have stellar communication skills (verbal and written), able to be creative and have lots of positive attitude and a sense of humor! Additionally, you should have a college degree (or currently be pursuing one) in Marketing, Business or a STEM field and must have your own transportation.
This is an unpaid internship, for 10-15 hours/ week and again, we are not looking for someone to just work for us but partner with us and be a vital part of our success.
