Jumpstart Readers Program

Jumpstart strives to build mentoring relationships with preschool children to develop their literacy skills and is currently looking for volunteers for the Readers Program. The program is a month-long program, where about 10 student volunteers read and do other activities once a week for an hour to children ages 3-4 during their activity time.

The Readers Program will be held on four different Fridays (Feb. 8th, Feb. 15, Feb. 22, and March 8th) from 2:30pm-3:30pm. The Readers Program will be held at a Jumpstart partner, Sheltering Arms Care Center in Centennial Place (385 Centennial Olympic Park Drive). It is about 2 minutes walking distance from the North Avenue apartments.
