Campus-wide Student Celebration: Coming Together to Fulfill the Dream

Focus Program for Prospective Graduate Students
Program runs from Thursday, Jan 17 to Sunday, Jan. 20
Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center
FOCUS gives prospective minority graduate students an opportunity to visit Georgia Tech for an overview of graduate degree programs. The program is designed to encourage attendees to pursue an advanced degree at Georgia Tech or the graduate school of their choice. Attendees must apply and register. National MLK Holiday Observance: A Day of Service

Make a difference with “A Day On, Not a Day Off!” Join Georgia Tech’s third annual MLK Day of Service, a campus-wide initiative honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Participants will serve in teams and engage in service projects with metro Atlanta community partners. SGA Diversity Symposium

Civil Rights Tour to Birmingham
Saturday, Jan 26
Departure Time 7:00 a.m.
Georgia Tech faculty and students will journey to Birmingham, Alabama, to visit key Civil Rights sites including the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, the 16th Street Baptist Church, Kelly Ingram Park, and the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame.
