Alternate Certification Info Session Dekalb Schools

Students and alumni interested in seeking employment in the DeKalb County School System may also qualify to participate in the county’s own Teacher Academy for Preparation and Pedagogy (TAPP). An information session will be on December 13, 2012 from 4:30 -6:30 at the Administrative and Instructional Complex (AIC) of DeKalb County at 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. A MARTA bus stop sits at the top of the complex.

The program allows qualifying individuals hired to teach in DeKalb County to complete all the state requirements for full teaching (clear renewable) certification after obtaining employment.
