This summer the College of Computing is offering a course involving the development of mobile applications and the impact of mobile computing. This course is meant for non-computing majors and does not have any pre-requisites. Students will use App Inventor for Android (a visual programming language) to create prescribed applications (plus a final project application of their choosing). They will also discuss the global and social impacts of mobile computing, and explore how existing technologies work.
