Robert C. Williams Paper Museum Internships

1) Sales & Public Relations Internship

Duties may include:
-Writing the monthly newsletter for distribution using MailChimp's platform
-Maintaining a vibrant web presence via Facebook, Twitter, MailChimp and Museum Website
-Advertising new exhibits, outreach opportunities and museum activities
-Design ads for various marketing campaigns
-Ordering new gift shop merchandise and maintaining current inventory
-Planning and creating displays in the Museum gift shop as needed

Skills Required:
-Good design sensibilities, and capable on programs such as Publisher, Photoshop and InDesign
-Provided computer is a Mac desktop, so a strong candidate would be proficient in Mac OS
-Good writing skills, creative initiative and the capability and motivation to work independently
-Marketing experience a plus

2) Management and Membership Internship

Duties may include:
-Maintaining membership accounts and sustaining meaningful relationships between the museum and its members
-Initiating creative networking opportunities and membership drives
-Tracking and accounting all of the Museum's finances for deposit
-Maintaining accurate financial records on the Museum's server
-Responsible for weekly Bursar's Office Deposits and delivery of reports to Lloyd Williams, the IPST Business Manager

Skills Required:
A strong sense of organization
Self-motivation, creativity and the capability to work independently
Detail oriented with a solid work ethic
Accounting or financial experience a plus

Preferred candidates will be able to commit to The Robert C. Williams Paper Museum for a minimum of 2 semesters, but the specific time frame can be discussed during the candidate's interview.
