The spring semester is well underway, and students commitment to community service is as vibrant as ever.  Recently Georgia Tech students introduced the newest service initiative on campus with the official launch of the Community Service Council, on February 7.

The Community Service Council (CSC) aims to promote synergy and serve as a conduit for better collaboration for the 40 plus service organizations on Tech's campus.  The CSC provides support to other service organizations by promoting their events as well as the mission set forth by the Office of Community Service, promoting civic responsibility and service-learning by encouraging student involvement in meaningful and reciprocal service in the community.
