EAS 1600, 1601 and 2600:
·       In Summer 2011, we will be offering EAS 1600 and EAS 2600 with no class or major restrictions
·       In Fall 2011, we will be offering two sections of EAS 1600, one of EAS 1601 and one of 2600.  See bullets here, and there is more detail below.
o   Freshmen/sophomore (and for 2600 specific majors) only
o   For 1600 A&B and 1601, half of all spaces are being held for FASETs
o   No other requests will be processed until AFTER all FASETs (so well into Phase II)
o   ALL permit/overload requests must be made through OSCAR
o   Requests need to be for specific labs (see below)
For more information, click READ MORE
Procedure to request a permit/overload:
Permit requests must be made through the OSCAR on-line registration override request system for the lab(s). Do NOT request a permit for the lecture [requests for lecture will not be processed].  If you are given a permit for a lab you will automatically have one for the lecture.  E-mail requests will not be processed.
EAS 1600 A&B:
Both sections are restricted to freshmen/sophomores only for this registration phase. The course opened up with 8 spaces per lab. 16 spaces per lab will open after all freshmen have their time tickets. Note that the level restrictions will still be in effect.  Additional labs will not open during this registration phase.
EAS 1601:
Course is restricted to freshmen/sophomores only for this registration phase. The course opened up with 6 spaces per lab. An additional 6 spaces per lab will open after all freshmen have their time tickets. Note that the level restrictions will still be in effect. Additional labs will not open during this registration phase.
NOTE: ONE-HALF OF THE TOTAL SPACES FOR BOTH COURSES ARE BEING HELD FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN WHICH IS WHY YOU WILL SEE OPEN SPOTS IN THE LECTURE BUT NO AVAILABLE LABS.
EAS 2600:
For this registration phase, the course is restricted to those majors where it is a required core course.  The restriction will not be removed until August after transfer FASET students have registered.
EAS 1600 & 2600 WILL BE OFFERED DURING THE SUMMER WITH NO RESTRICTIONS!!
