TEACH Program Looking for Math & Science Tutors

Posted by Angela Valenti On 11:54:00 AM

The TEACH program is looking for new volunteer tutors at nearby Grady High School for Spring semester.  There are opportunities to volunteer on weekdays and on Saturday mornings.  Both undergrads and grad students in any major are welcome-- no experience is necessary.  If you'd like to get experience tutoring math or science, please consider joining this Tech student-run organization!

Do you enjoy teaching and tutoring others? Have a passion for helping the community? Then considering tutoring high school students in math and science. This spring, TEACH, (Tech Enriching Atlanta Community High Schools), will once again send interested Tech students to tutor at Grady High School. This is a great opportunity to not only give back, but also gain experience in teaching and guiding others.

As in the past, tutoring times are usually on weekdays, from 3:30 to 4:30 - if you are unable to tutor during those times, there are also possibilities of tutoring earlier in the day. Furthermore, we will also be helping Grady prepare for its standardized testing with science tutoring on Saturday mornings. You are welcome to come tutor whenever your schedule allows.

If you are interested in being part of TEACH, please email either Gazi Rashid or Christine Kim to let us know. We would love to have you join us.
