The Emory Clinic Summer Internship is designed to help students gain practical experience in the ambulatory care setting while making a positive impact through innovative and creative project work. The Summer Internship is open to undergrad and graduate students with an interest in health care management. Projects may be focused in a variety of functional areas. Projects in previous years have focused on quality, process improvement, strategy, operations, finance, marketing and business development. Students are expected to present a deliverable, such as a presentation or project summary, at the end of their internship.
The Emory Clinic Summer Internship Program typically starts in mid-May or early June and lasts through mid-August. Interns have the opportunity to attend senior leadership meetings, be exposed to departments throughout The Emory Clinic, attend lunch and learn to discuss various topics with peers and hear guest speakers, and formally present projects to The Emory Clinic section and executive leadership.
Applications are accepted through February 7. Students can apply online by visiting www.emoryhealthcare.org/employment/search-careers. Go to Search Openings and type Job Requisition ID: 20156BR. Click on the Job Requisition ID to open the position. Select "Apply to Job." For questions or additional info, contact Alan Kramer at alan.kramer@emoryhealthcare.org.
