Georgia Tech is a world class institution with phenomenal students from every walk of life. We are thrilled to engage in dialogue surrounding what it means to be an ally of the LGBTQ community, and how we can make Georgia Tech a more inclusive place to live, work, and study.
At tthe 12/9/10 event we will hear from Georgia Tech alum and Atlanta City Councilman Alex Wan. We will then discuss what it means to be a part of the LGBTQ community at Tech. Break out sessions will include:
* Intro to LGBTQ
* Race and LGBTQ
* Faith and LGBTQ
* The Greek Community and LGBTQ.
We look forward to the opportunity to tell our fellow Yellow Jackets, "It Gets Better."
Remember, the event starts promptly at 7PM at the LeCraw Auditorium in the College of Management! Please feel free to contact Corey T. Boone or Kaitlyn Whiteside with any questions.
