January GACE exam

To all Pre-Teachers:
If you will be on the job market for Fall 2011, or if you are applying to the MAT programs in the Sciences at KSU (for summer 2011 admission), you need to take the GACE content assessment exam(s) in the field(s) you want to teach.   If you're in either of these categories, take the GACE in January!

The next GACE exam date is January 8th.

The deadline to register is November 26th  (later registration is possible, but includes a late fee)

Go to
http://www.gace.nesinc.com for more information.

Note that most GACE exams are in two parts, and that you need to take both parts, and that you do take both parts during the same testing period.  For example, if you're taking the GACE in Mathematics (Math grades 6-12), you need to take both tests 022 & 023, and that both of those tests will be on that afternoon.  If you want to, you could also take another test (like Physics) on the same morning.  Middle Grades tests are single tests.

This can be confusing, so please don't hesitate to email, beth.spencer@provost.gatech.edu.
