Important Reminders: 
Graduating with the IP designator Spring 2011 or Summer 2011? Graduating IP students must complete and have signed a "Degree Designation Form" in order to receive the IP designation on their diploma and transcript.  Download the correct form for your language track (Foreign Language Track and English Language Track) at http://www.internationalplan.gatech.edu/forms/

Studying Abroad or Working Abroad for the IP's 26 week international experience requirement? Students going abroad for the 1st and/or 2nd term of their IP international experience must have the term(s) approved.  It is highly recommended that you have your program(s) approved prior to Phase I registration to be sure that the experience(s) will count for IP requirements and to be able to register for the IP course.   The approval form can be found at http://www.internationalplan.gatech.edu/forms/
Foreign Language Track students...Have you just returned from from your second IP term abroad? It's time to take the ACTFL/OPI language proficiency exam.
If you have just returned from your second IP term abroad and you are Foreign Language Track, you should take the ACTFL/OPI language proficiency exam as soon as possible. Go to the School of Modern Languages website at www.modlangs.gatech.edu/ for more information and for instructions on how to request an exam appointment.

International Education Week November 15 - November 20 International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Don't miss the fun! Go to Office of International Education website for more information and a calendar of events.

International Plan Meetup for Barnga, Thursday November 18 Barnga is an intercultural simulation game being hosted by the Office of International Education during International Education Week.  Anyone can participate who has not participated before.   If you have participated before, you can still come watch.   Meet other IP students in front of Junior's at 10:45 am on Thursday, November 18th.  We can walk over to the Student Center together to play!  If you can't meet us, then be at the Student Center Ballroom by 11:00 am to play!

Upcoming IP Events:  IP Advisement Session - Thursday December 2, 2010, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Crescent Room, Student Center.  If you're new to the IP or have been in the program a while and have questions about satisfying the requirements of the International Plan, please join us at group advising.  Each person who attends a group advising session will receive an IP tee-shirt.
