In partnership with the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, Georgia Tech is pleased to present "France-Atlanta 2010: Together Toward Innovation." From November 29 through December 12, 2010, a series of twenty events in science, business, humanitarian efforts, and the arts will take place throughout Atlanta. Nine of the events will be hosted on the Georgia Tech campus.
Lectures, workshops, conferences, and symposiums will illuminate "France-Atlanta" with the goal of uniting important American and French experts in order to exchange ideas and recent developments in subjects such as cardiovascular and cancer treatments, transportation, renewable energies, and humanitarian efforts in Haiti. In addition, “France-Atlanta” will sponsor a series of cultural events to include dance, theater, music, visual arts, and architecture.
For a complete listing of events and to learn more about the program in its entirety, visit the France-Atlanta website at www.france-atlanta.org. All events are open to the public unless otherwise noted.
