At 10am on June 5th, the Georgia chapter of UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women) will meet in Piedmont Park for a Walk to End Violence Against Women and Girls. For participants, there will be free gift bags, chair massages and the chance to win prizes. All proceeds will benefit UNIFEM. Registration and warm-up begins at 10am, the walk begins at 10:30 and the giveaway winners will be drawn at 11:30am.
