Georgia Executive Women’s Network 2010-2011 Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship

Application deadline: April 30, 2010

The GEWN Scholarship is open to female, non-traditional undergraduate students who will be enrolled in a four-year program in a metropolitan Atlanta accredited institution for the coming academic year.  Non-traditional is defined as a student who is at least 24 years old.  The scholarship is targeted at women who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study and who have returned or are returning to college after a gap in their education.

GEWN’s Scholarship Committee will review applications, interview the top candidates, and notify the award winners by June 15, 2010.  Funds will be placed in the recipients’ school accounts in July, and the award winners will be honored at a special luncheon in Atlanta in October 2010.

Since the inception of our Scholarship Program in 1998, we have awarded over $80,000 to 35 outstanding recipients.  For the 2010-2011 academic year, we will award two $3,000 scholarships to Atlanta-area students.  For more info, contact Kathy Mooney, GEWN Scholarship Committee, at 770.594.1033 or visit www.gewn.org.
