GACE and GRE Registration Deadlines

The next GACE testing date is March 23, 2013. The late registration deadline is March 1, 2013. Emergency registration is March 1 – 15, 2013.New tests have been added to the May 4, 2013 paper-based administration.
New GACE testing dates have been added: July 13, 2013 and August 17, 2013.


Registration for the added tests in May and for the July and August administrations will be available beginning February 27, 2013. There will be a supplemental fee of $45.00 to register for the May, July, and/or August administrations. Registration for the July and August administrations will be Internet only.

Remaining spring and summer 2013 dates for paper-based GACE assessments: May 4, June 14, July 13, and August 17.

Not every assessment is available on every test day or during every test session (morning or afternoon). Those taking the GACE may not be able to take all the necessary assessments on the same day. Check the GACE testing schedule for specifics.

Individuals who pass the GACE content area assessments may pursue teaching positions in the state without having full (clear renewable) certification. Alternate routes to certification exist for individuals who have passed the GACE but have not completed the 30 hours of required coursework and student teaching. Georgia Tech Reserves – 7 day check out policy for select GACE study guides (Problems? Go to www.library.gatech.edu under Course Reserves, Susan Belmonte, and CETL 4001. The Pre-Teaching program has GACE preparation guides by XAMonline, Inc. (2008 editions) for Early Childhood Education (tests 001 and 002), Spanish (tests 141 and 142), Middle Grades Science (test 014), Broad Field Science/Earth Science (tests 024 and 025), Physics (tests 030, 031), History (tests 034, 035), Biology (tests 026, 027), Mathematics (tests 022, 023).

The reserve also includes two study guides for the GRE.

    Brilliant share! Analytical skills and reference books taught by online classes I paid last month are awesome. Even the MPRE Practice Questions and answer samples provided by them are helpful in proper preparations. Will continue with the classes till the date of my exam.
