Former Secretaries of Defense Conference

Tomorrow, April 23, several former Secretaries of Defense will be giving bipartisan advice to the new administration.  Doors open at 9:15 AM and close at 9:45 AM. Conference begins at 10:00 AM and will be televised for nationwide airing over public broadcasting stations. Taping ends at 12:15 PM.
Participants include:
  • Donald Rumsfeld, 1975-1977 under President Ford & 2001-2006 under President G. W. Bush
  • William Cohen, 1997-2001 under President Clinton
  • Richard Cheney, 1989-1993 under President H. W. Bush
  • Frank Carlucci, 1987-1989 under President Reagan
  • James Schlesinger, 1973-1975 under Presidents Nixon & Ford
Moderator: David Gergen, Senior Political Analyst for CNN

Tickets available through the Ferst Center Box Office General Admission $20 (includes free parking) A limited number of free tickets are available to students, staff and faculty at the Ferst Center Box Office, located on the second floor of the Student Center. A valid BuzzCard is required to receive a free ticket.
