Federal Human Capital Consulting:
Consulting with a Government Twist

The Deloitte Consulting Vision:

Deloitte Consulting’s main objective is to be the premier advisor to executives of leading organizations. At Deloitte, our practitioners are encouraged to build enduring relationships with our clients and our people based on trust, integrity, and exceptional results. Firm wide, we place an emphasis on providing our clients with innovative solutions to their complex problems through sound advice and effective execution from our exceptional professionals.

The Federal Consulting Practice:

Deloitte helps federal agencies solve their most meaningful and challenging problems. Federal Human Capital services are designed to help government agencies enhance their performance and productivity through their workforce and support execution of their mission. Deloitte supports all major government health care organizations, all branches of the armed forces and agencies of the Department of Defense, the majority of national security and intelligence agencies, and a majority of civilian agencies (USDA, IRS, USAID, World Bank, etc.)

What is Unique about the Federal Practice?

The federal practice enables campus hires to design solutions and deliver results that help make a real and lasting difference to people in the United States and around the world. The Federal Practice is the fastest growing industry sector for Deloitte with an increase from 100 personnel in 2004 to 7,350+ full time employees in 2014. To support this growth, Deloitte has invested in resources such as GovLab, a think tank that focuses on innovation in the public sector, which works closely with senior government executives and thought leaders from across the globe. GovLab Fellows conduct research into key issues and emerging ideas shaping the public, private and non-profit sectors. While the majority of the federal practice is located in the D.C. Metropolitan Area to best serve our clients in the nation’s capital, there are also offices across the country to support clients outside of the DC area including an Atlanta office.
