Women’s Policy, Inc. is accepting applications for the Congressional Fellowships on Women and Public Policy Class of 2015. The deadline for applications is June 20! In January 2014, Women’s Policy, Inc. (WPI) became the new home for the WREI Congressional Fellowships on Women & Public Policy. The fellowships are extended each year to a select number of students pursuing a graduate degree or those who have recently completed a master’s, doctorate, or professional degree with a proven commitment to equity for women. Fellows gain practical policymaking experience as they work from January to August in congressional offices. More than 300 talented graduate students have come to Capitol Hill since the program started in 1980.
Now administered by WPI, this program is unique – the only fellowship program on Capitol Hill directly by, for, and about women. HTS alum Elizabeth Darnall participated in this and said it was a fantastic experience, and she now works on Capitol Hill!
